Mac's 1st haircut!

Today I let Aunt Dana give MacKenna her first haircut! Mac was so good, she just sat there with her sucker and watched herself in the mirror. Here are some pictues I took.....

Famous couples..

Our church had a Valentine's Day banquet and the theme was famous couples. Chad and I did not dress up and when we arrived with both kids (thinking there would be childcare...), decided that we would rather spend the night at home than fight two crazy kids through a banquet! However we later met a few of the "famous couples" at Java J's for coffee.......so here they are folks!

Why we invite Gage's friends over....

Today Gage and Mac's friend Cali spent the day with us because her mommy was home sick. I actually think I will inviter her over more frequently......the girl is a cleaning machine!! She followed me around all day asking what she could do to help me, so after a while, I put her to work. We cleaned the kids rooms, my room, and the bathroom! She actually inspired my kids, they wanted to help too. I should be ashamed to show you these pictures because my laundry mess is HUGE.....but were friends and family right??

Why we invite Gage

Happy Birthday MacKenna!

Our sweet MacKenna is 2 yrs old today! I can't believe it! We are having the kids birthday party together this year, so we are waiting until closer to Gage's. We had some cupcakes and presents today though. When we let her eat the cupcake, she insisted that the icing was lic-stic (lipstick) and wiped it all over her lips and face. The best part was watching her put it on uncle Kurt and daddy too! here are just a few pictures of the fun (ok.....a lot of pictures).

A day in the park

The kids and I went to the park today and had tons of fun! We took our lunch and ate it there.....well I ate. The kids were pumped to be at the park and had no interest in eating their lunch. MacKenna followed Gage everywhere he went and up every slide he went on . I can't believe Mac will be 2 in less than a week. It doesn't seem possible! I am so thankful for being at home with them and watching them grow! As I was looking through the pictures I took to day, I was amazed at how big Gage is getting. He has some freckles on his face and his features are changing from that little boy I am used to seeing. Funny how it took me looking at the pictures to notice.
